    The Digital Marketing Coordinator will assist the Director of Market Development in the execution of strategies and tactics to develop the Yoo & Co. Accelerators online brand. Strategies include the development of effective social media platforms for the company to market to potential customers and partners both locally and globally. Tactics include the optimization of social media marketing, timely communication with online inquiries, and support of marketing campaigns and messaging.

    Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator

    Key Responsibilities:

    ● Gather business leads through various leading social media platforms;
    ● Utilize market research to apply SEO, keyword, and google analytics to increase traffic;
    ● Support critical planning processes for our social media accounts;
    ● Collaborate on content design for social media posts;
    ● Compile and analyze monthly reports to advise on strategy and content;
    ● Use hashtag optimization to grow engagement on all platforms;
    ● Create and present content concepts;
    ● Help to identify user groups on social media; and
    ● Occasional miscellaneous tasks and activities as required.

    Qualifications:

    ● Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or other related discipline;
    ● 1-2 years of experience in social media, marketing, and/or communications preferred;
    ● Team-oriented contributor with strong interpersonal communication skills;
    ● Highly focused and goal-oriented, with demonstrated ability to work independently;
    ● Outstanding organizational and time-management skills;
    ● A self-starter who is willing to think outside the box;
    ● Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy;
    ● Basic Internet, HTML, and content management-system skills;
    ● Familiarity of social media analytics and using platforms such as LinkedIn; and
    ● Experience with Google Workspace.

  • An internship with Yoo & Co. Accelerators will offer a wide breadth and depth to how a company works. If you are still trying to figure out exactly what role you would like to play in a company’s success, working with Yoo & Co. Accelerators will allow you to gain a greater understanding of the various roles and responsibilities. While you will be given a specific project and deliverables you will also gain exposure to the following:

    ● Venture Analysis: Determining the strengths and weaknesses of entrepreneurial ventures and gauging what gaps need to be filled to enable a venture’s success;

    ● Venture Development: Working alongside founders to build and strategize their growth and development;

    ● Finance Acquisition: Working on a team to understand the process of raising capital for ventures as they grow;

    ● Pitch/Narrative Development: Working with ventures to develop their personal narrative to communicate to investors and customers;

    ● Market Analysis: Learning how to conduct high level analysis of an industry and market to determine the viability of a venture;

    ● Market Testing: Working to test a product/service with potential customers and adapting strategy to better grow a venture; and

    ● Marketing/Branding: Learning how to build a cross-platform marketing plan and executing it to bring in more customers and attention to a venture.

In this role, you will be responsible for fostering strategic partnerships, expanding our network, and driving business development initiatives to support the growth and success of our accelerator program. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in building a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, collaborating with industry stakeholders, and driving innovation in the healthcare/life sciences industry.     Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement an ecosystem development strategy to foster strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, venture capital firms, corporate partners, and other ecosystem enablers.

    • Identify and engage with potential program sponsors, investors, and mentors to support the growth and sustainability of the accelerator program.

    • Proactively scout for promising startups, attending industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to identify potential participants for the accelerator program.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute business development initiatives, such as pitch competitions, roadshows, and networking events, to attract high-potential startups and increase program visibility.

    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market gaps, and potential opportunities for startups in the target industry/sector.

    • Build and maintain relationships with program alumni, tracking their progress, and leveraging their success stories to attract new startups and demonstrate the value of the accelerator program.

    • Stay updated with industry developments, policy changes, and funding opportunities, providing strategic guidance and support to startups in navigating the ecosystem.

    • Collaborate closely with the program manager to ensure the alignment of ecosystem development efforts with the goals and objectives of the accelerator program.

    • Regularly report on ecosystem development activities, partnership initiatives, and business development outcomes to key stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, entrepreneurship, marketing, etc.). A master's degree or equivalent qualification is a plus.

    • Proven experience in ecosystem development, business development, or a similar role, preferably within the startup ecosystem, business accelerator, or related industry.

    • Strong understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape, startup challenges, and industry dynamics.

    • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

    • Results-oriented mindset, with a track record of achieving business development targets and driving tangible outcomes.

    • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, capable of identifying market opportunities and shaping ecosystem development strategies.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

    • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Proficiency in CRM software, business development tools, and industry-specific databases.

    • Passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and driving the growth of early-stage startups.
